I'm officially announcing the launch day for the second volume of my Jetpack Shark comic. I'll start posting a new page every Tuesday here on the site until it's complete. That'll be 24 weeks of regular posts and comic goodness! I'll post every new page in a blog post, but you'll be able to read them all easily from my comics tab, too.
I decided to make the comic black & white instead of color as I plan to print it out and sell physical copies at conventions next year. Color is significantly more expensive, sadly. I'll be adding grey tones to the pages, so they'll look more polished than the raw ink pages that I've been posting.
September 16th. The Jetpack Shark returns.
A follow up post for my League of Legends A to Z Champion Illustration Challenge. Here's the B+C letter champions. Click the image below to cycle through them all!
Here's the inks for page two of Jetpack Shark Volume 2, which I'll refer to by it's chapter title "Leftovers" from here on out! The first appearance of JPS in this volume, and he's got his bounty cornered. Or, so he thinks...
I've started to begin work on my long delayed second volume of Jetpack Shark. I've had the story idea for a long time, but I'm happy that it's all come together at this point. It's only recently that I feel like I can artistically live up to my own expectations of the comic. I plan to make this a short-running webcomic that will publish weekly on my tumblr (When I have enough completed pages to feel comfortable with a uninterrupted weekly schedule until completion).
So, I present the first page's raw inks, a prologue of sorts that sets the stage for the chaos to follow. I'm not sure if I'll be making the comic grey scale or full color yet. 24 pages of shark insanity. I'll be updating here more regularly with process images and other pages.
